Our story

IDEA

ARIMMA was born out of the idea that fashion can be thoughtful, timeless and responsible. And that it should honor and support who you are and who you want to be.

MISSION

This is why our mission became to create clothes that exude an easy, effortless elegance with an on-demand model that reduces our environmental impact. We only start making a garment when an order has been placed, guaranteeing our designs are intentionally made just for you.

DESIGN

Our sense of fashion is one that celebrates the classics while embracing a subtle cold charm, sensuality and sustainability. We don’t design with trends in mind but rather craft soulful pieces that are meant to be worn for decades to come.

Our values

01 SOULFUL STYLE

For us, it’s an act of awareness of ourselves, the people and the planet. What we wear should support us to experience the fullness of who we are and continue to be a form that allows our soul to express itself from the inside out.

02 CONNECTION

We all need connection, and everything is interconnected. We seek to deepen our connection to our soul and be grateful for what we have and our unique qualities while considering that our actions have consequences. As a company, we work on being deliberate and thoughtful in everything we do, as it ultimately causes a ripple effect.

03 SELF-DISCOVERY

Learning more about yourself is an act of strength and vulnerability. It takes courage to uncover the beauty of our own truth. Through our reflection, we’ve uncovered that we are not perfect. But we are learners, dreamers, storytellers and lovers of people, culture and the planet. We hope to be part of your journey as you discover and evolve into the most honest version of yourself.

Founder's story

Lucielle Salomon is a first-generation Dominican-American proud of her Latinx roots. She thanks her opportunity to have lived in the Dominican Republic for 11 years for her love for nature, community and self-expression.

For as long as she remembers, she’s always been a lover of fashion. And she admits to having been caught in a cycle of overconsumption and other unsustainable habits such as not wanting to repeat clothes. So after a period of self-reflection and figuring out her purpose in life, she noticed her disconnect with the fashion industry.

Lucielle became fascinated with sustainability and the innovation behind it. It then became her mission to reassess her role in fashion, in which she decided to move away from its fast-paced consumption and waste.

With her journalism background, she ultimately became a sustainable fashion and beauty editor, where she shares her love affair for both industries while exposing their global impact on people and the planet.

She’s now excited to move the fashion industry forward with an on-demand brand that does not compromise style over ethics.
