Materials
Organic Cotton
Crafted from 100% certified organic cotton and dyed with Azo-free dyes, this fabric is made with both quality and sustainability in mind. Our supplier utilizes an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to thoroughly clean the water used in production, ensuring that any harmful substances are removed before the water is either reused or safely returned to the environment, minimizing impact and promoting a healthier planet.
Silk
We choose to work with 100% silk because it's a natural, biodegradable fiber that aligns with our values of longevity and low-impact design. Our supplier shares that same mindset—they operate their own dye house and run a clean, efficient factory where all water used in the dyeing process is properly treated through a waste facility that meets strict environmental regulations.
They’ve also invested in a finishing machine that uses air instead of steam, which significantly reduces fuel consumption. For us, it’s not just about the elegance of silk—it’s about how it’s made, how long it lasts and how gently it returns to the earth.
Linen
Our linen is crafted in Europe from high-quality European flax fibers in an Oeko-Tex 100 certified mill, ensuring it's free from harmful substances. Flax grows quickly, requires little to no irrigation, and needs far fewer chemicals than conventional cotton, making it one of the most sustainable natural fibers.
Our supplier, with over 60 years of expertise in heritage linen production in Eastern Europe, sources flax from trusted growers. Their factory runs entirely on renewable energy, with facilities strategically placed to minimize CO2 emissions. As active participants in the Fashion Revolution movement, they prioritize ethical production and transparency in the textile industry.
Linen isn’t just sustainable—it’s built to last. Naturally breathable, moisture-wicking, and hypoallergenic, it only gets softer with every wash, proving that comfort and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Production
Before a design becomes something you can wear, it begins with careful exploration. We use 3D virtual design to refine the shape, fit and feeling of each garment while reducing the need for multiple physical samples. It allows us to slow down, make thoughtful decisions and bring each design closer to what we imagined, with less waste along the way.
Our on-demand model is different from traditional wholesale manufacturing. We do not produce in bulk and hope each garment finds a home. Instead, your garment begins production only after you place your order.
This allows us to create with more care, more intention and less excess, while moving away from the pressure of overproduction and seasonal deadlines. It also gives each design the space to be made thoughtfully and helps us build a more flexible, intentional relationship with our manufacturers.
All ARIMMA designs are ethically made at an on-demand facility in the United States.
The care does not end once your order is made. Each shipment is packed in entirely plastic-free, 100% recycled packaging made with 95–97% post-consumer waste. Our boxes and mailers are fully recyclable and naturally biodegradable, chosen to protect what you receive while being gentler on the planet.
